Back from the ashes..

June 16th, 2009 admin 1 comment

The site is back.. All old posts will come back as I update them with correct links, images, etc..

NTM gallery is dead and it will stay this way.. No time or energy to keep it up. I’ll bring back some personal stuff but no more photo books or wallpapers.. Too much time to maintain that stuff..

Poor Michelle.. :(

wieFrom cnn.com: Wie, feeling sick, calls it quits after nine holes Friday

The 16-year-old phenom was treated for heat exhaustion at a local hospital after withdrawing from the John Deere Classic with nine holes left Friday. She struggled to keep herself from getting sick on a hot, steamy afternoon, and left the course in an ambulance with an IV in one arm.

Even if she’d finish today it’d be a miracle for her to make the cut..

I guess that’s it for Wie’s entry into the PGA tournaments this year.. :(

HSBC Women’s World Match Play Championship

Sooo.. All my favorites are gone now.. :’( I probably wont even bother to see who’s won..
Shi-Hyun Ahn didn’t even play and gone after first round was Ai Miyazato who lost to Kyeong Bae (2up). Ai was doing ok untill the last 2 holes.. :(

Michelle Wie kicked some serious butt in the 1st round against Candy Hannemann (5&3). And in the 2nd round she’s met Christina Kim. Wie won with 3&2. 3rd round was something I was actualy waiting for.. Michelle against my fav, Se Ri Pak. Michelle won with 2&1.. Bye-bye Se Ri.. :( But.. Payback is a bitch and in the quarter-finals Michelle got hammered by Brittany Lincicome who won the game for 4&3.

Now Se Ri Pak.. Good start in the 1st round against Angela Stanford (5&4 for Pak). 2nd round.. Blah.. Lorie Kane and Se Ri were trading the lead though the whole game with just 1up win for Pak thanks to the bogie from Kane on the 18th hole. And I have already mentioned the result of the 3rd round.. :(

The next player from my ‘fav’ list that left the championship after the 3rd round was Mi Hyun Kim. She won the 1st round against Nicole Castrale with 4&2 and destroyed Laura Davies in the 2nd round for 5&4 after 14 holes. But.. In the 3rd round she’s met Lorena Ochoa who won the game with 3&2.

Btw. the last few holes of Annika Sorenstam vs Juli Inkster = teh winnah! 100% deserved win for Juli just for the finish on the 16th hole.

61st U.S. Women’s Open Championship

Wow.. It’s finally done.. Annika Sorenstam is the winner after the 18-hole playoff today against Pat Hurst..

Yesterdays 4th round ended up with both of them finishing at even par.

I feel kind of bad for Se Ri Pak who yesterday was one of the only 2 players who got under par with 69. She’s also got 69 in the first round so it’s only the bad 2nd round on Saturday and morning round on Sunday (both 74) that cost her the win. She finished tied for 3rd with Stacy Prammanasudh and Michelle Wie.

Shi Hyun Ahn ended up 8th with +8 and Ai Miyazato finished 28th with +14. :(

Congratulations to Se Ri Pak (left) who after playoff against Karrie Webb has won the 2006 McDonald’s LPGA Championship.

Also a big hand for Ai Miyazato (right) who after placing first in the 3rd round yesterday, finished tied for 3rd with Mi Hyun Kim.

The teenage sensation Michelle Wie finished tied for the 5th place.
